Map
- New weapon: Mortar: A newly introduced mortar on the map is not hard to operate, but achieving accuracy will require substantial practice. It can be used to assault behind cover from the target, or to defend against distant enemies; more details follow.
- New weapon: Mortar: If sufficient practice has been done with mortar usage, it can be effectively employed to attack ridgelines out of line-of-sight for grenade throws, or to defend against long-range attackers; each... (continued guidance follows).
- New weapon: Mortar: Includes in the primary weapon slot upon acquisition.
- New weapon: Mortar: Can only be installed on flat ground consisting of earth. It cannot be installed on ground made of cement, iron, concrete, water, wood, or inside structures.
Weapon
- New weapon: M79: The M79 introduced in this patch is a new utility weapon modeled after the real M79 grenade launcher. It tactically uses smoke grenades as ammunition to obscure enemy vision...
- New weapon: M79: Equipped in the secondary weapon (pistol) slot upon acquisition. Cannot be used from vehicle driver seats.
- New weapon: M79: New ammunition: 40mm smoke rounds create a two-stage smoke effect: a first puff when the projectile collides with objects at distances beyond 10m, followed by the secondary smoke effect.
- New weapon: M79: If the projectile collides with an object within 10m and the explosion fails, a first smoke effect does not occur; after 3 seconds a second smoke effect will occur.
Other
- New feature: DBNO swimming: To improve survival when DBNO occurs underwater, swimming support is added. Previously, DBNO underwater prevented swimming.
- DBNO swimming: You can swim at half normal speed.
- DBNO swimming: Entering DBNO swimming does not reset remaining breath; if you were holding your breath, it continues to decrease over time.
- DBNO swimming: In DBNO, players continuously lose HP. Additionally, drowning HP loss means death within 10 seconds.
UI/UX
- Lobby Krafton ID (Learn about Krafton ID): A button has been added to the profile overview page to link your PUBG account with your Krafton ID.
- Lobby Krafton ID (Learn about Krafton ID): Previously only linkable on the website (accounts.krafton.com); with this update, linking can be done directly in the game lobby.
